DRUG FREE WORKPLACE (DFWP)
Wescom Investigations through our association with Mobile Medical
Solutions can assist your organization to implement, administer and manage
your drug-free workplace program in compliance with federal (Department of
Transportation) and state regulations. Several states give organizations a
significant worker's compensation (WC) discount for DFWP implementation and
the ability to deny WC claims after a post-accident positive drug test.
Documentation Services: Customization of your written DFWP program by
Human Resource professionals to comply with state law and company policy.
Includes a final draft of a three-part program (Company Manual, Supervisory
Guide, and Employee/Applicant Handout).
Drug Testing Services: Over 3500 collection sites throughout North America to
utilize for drug (urinalysis) and alcohol testing. All pricing is based on annual
quantity and includes collections, (SAMSHA, NIDA) laboratory services, and
Medical Review Officer (MRO) reporting by confidential fax, email, or phone. All
invoicing is submitted monthly, and includes hard copies of drug and alcohol
testing conducted.
Rapid Testing: For non-DOT testing, several states allow organizations to utilize
rapid testing (urinalysis, saliva) where results are obtained on-the-spot, after 2
minutes. Organizations can save up to 50% on the cost of standard urinalysis.

Employee and Supervisory Training: Department of Transportation (by
agency) regulations mandate annual Employee and Supervisory substance
abuse training. Our interactive seminars help employees understand company
policy and the need for drug-testing, while teaching Supervisors and Managers
how to detect Reasonable Suspicion cases in the workplace.
On-Site Testing: Certified Technicians sent to your workplace to conduct
random or group employment testing. This service saves time and decreases
liability involved in sending employees to a collection site.
Random Testing: A random selection software program that uses a number
generation system to produce a primary and alternate list of employees to be
tested. The alternate list is used in the event that primary selections of
employees who are sick, do vacation, or have been separated since the list was
imputed.
